Gateway Scholars Football Classic

The annual Gateway Scholars Football Classic is returning on Saturday, September 7, 2024, to East St. Louis, Illinois with top football talent from across the region and country. The feature game will include the Illinois 2022 Class 6A State Champions – the East St. Louis Flyers! Thousands of fans will descend upon East St. Louis to witness and experience great football. These phenomenal high school teams include nationally-ranked and state champions. 

WHEN: Saturday, September 7, 2024. Tailgate lot opens at 9:00am. Stadium opens at 12:00pm.

• 1:00 p.m. Lift for Life Academy Hawks (MO) vs. St. Francis Spartans (IL)
   
• 4:00 p.m. Jackson Indians (MO) vs Cahokia Comanches (IL)
   
• 7:00 p.m. Newton Rams (GA) vs East St. Louis Flyers (IL)

WHERE: Clyde C. Jordan Stadium, 4901 State Street, East St. Louis, IL

This is an exciting event for the whole family! Admission is $10 per person for all day access (3 games). No in/out privileges. General parking is $10/vehicle. Tailgate parking is $20/vehicle. Tickets available at the gate or in advance at East St. Louis Senior High School (Monday-Friday between the hours of 7:30am-3pm, starting Thursday, August 22nd at 1 pm). Cash only tickets, concessions and parking. No weapons, tobacco products, or outside food/drink allowed. Bags are allowed but subject to search.
