Skyline Robotics

Students in Skyline Robotics club

The East St. Louis Senior High School Skyline Robotics Team is comprised of a dynamic group of students who are passionate about technology, innovation, and teamwork. The team collaborates weekly to design, build, and program robots to compete in the FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC).

Following the guidelines set forth by FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology), the team embraces the core values of gracious professionalism and cooperation. They not only strive for success on the competition field but also emphasize learning, growth, and community outreach.

In the FTC competition, the team faces challenges that test their engineering skills, creativity, and problem-solving abilities. From designing mechanisms to navigating the game field autonomously, every aspect of the robot's functionality is meticulously crafted and tested by the student team members.

Beyond the technical aspects, the team fosters a supportive environment where students develop leadership skills, communication abilities, and a strong work ethic. Through mentorship and collaboration, they inspire each other to reach their full potential both in robotics and in life.
